Job Description:

The manager assumes total responsibility within the assigned clinical area, providing leadership and motivation to others, ensuring the provision of a quality-driven evidence-based patient service.

The role requires a manager who is an expert in his/her field; an approachable and effective communicator; and an empowered leader.

Responsibilities:

-        Management and leadership for Nursing Education including Nurse Educators, Clinical nurse
specialists.

-        Leading Nurse Leadership Program

-        Leading Preceptor ship Program

-        Provision of nurse Orientation Program

-        Provision of Staff Development Program

-        Oversee Student Nurse Placement

-        Oversee Life Support Instructor development program

-        Review and improve nursing education resources

-        Review of Risk Management Analysis data deficiency

-        Review of learning, teaching and competencies assessment strategy

-        Established Evidence Based Nursing Journal Club

Required Qualifications:

1-          Bachelor of Nursing is a must

2-          Masters qualification in nursing education is
a must

3-          Post graduate qualification in management
essential

Years of Experience:

1-   15 years' experience at senior management
level essential in clinical nursing education is
a must

2-   At least 5 years' experience as clinical
instructor is a must

3-   Experience in accreditation and quality is
essential

Salary Range: $2000-$4000 based on the qualifications and years of experience
