A Leading Company in KSA Jubail, K.S.A, Is seeking to recruit

A Mechanical Technician – (Oil & Gas)

Responsibilities:

  Including but not limited to the following:

• Understand and repair systems related to ship loaders, conveyors, crushers, reclaimers  and all moving parts related to such bulk material handling systems
• Repair and maintain overhead cranes, pumps, motors, engines, generators, hydraulics, and conveyors
• Maintain good and open communication with Coke Cutters, Crane Operators, Supervision, and Managers via radio and other proper means
• Learn coke cutting and bridge crane operating when additional manpower is needed
• Properly inspect equipment prior to, and post shift, and report any additional maintenance needs; Conduct frequent audits on the crane and other heavy equipment
• Maintain clean work space by removing trash and debris from all areas of responsibility including structures, offices, restrooms, break rooms, vehicles, crane cab, etc
• Manage spare/critical parts inventory keeping necessary amounts of inventory is in stock to reduce any delays or failures
• Properly record and input daily maintenance activities into files and into computerized maintenance system
• Look for opportunities to assist other maintenance personnel, operators and managers with tasks, even if they seem outside of the realm of typical electrician duties
• Sensitive, Responsible, and Compliant with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements of company

Skills/Qualifications:

  Ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• At least 5 years experience with conveyors, changing rollers, pulleys, motors, changing and vulcanizing belts, bag houses, hoppers, crushers, magnets, scales, etc.
• At least 5 years experience with crane maintenance and repair
• Familiar with material moving equipment repair and or heavy equipment (yellow equipment)
• Able to read, write and understand English equal or higher than B1 Level according to CEFR
• Able to follow safe work practices both with and without supervision

General Experience/Requirements:

• Two years Mechanical Engineering diploma (or equivelant) or greater
• Must understand the oil refining process and culture that comes with it
• Minimum of 5 years with general mechanical experience
• Ability to work outdoors in any condition and not afraid of heights
• 3-5 years conveyor and or marine experience
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
