A Leading Company in Jubail, K.S.A, Is seeking to recruit

Petroleum Coke Handler

 (Oil & Gas) 

Responsibilities:

Including but not limited to the following:

• Perform proper daily preventative maintenance on and operate coke handling equipment: conveyors, crushers, silos, loading chutes, jet pumps, quench tanks, valves, winch, etc
• Assist Coke & Crane Operator to un-head and re-head the coke drums, as well as performing the final sweep of the coke drum
• Maintain good and open communication with Crane Operator, Supervision, Managers and Maintenance Personnel via radio and other proper means
• Operation of control room that monitors all coke handling equipment, conveyors, transfer points, reclaiming and ship loading
• Help maintenance personnel with equipment maintenance when additional manpower is needed
• Properly inspect equipment prior to and post operating and report any additional maintenance needs and conduct frequent audits on the crane and other heavy equipment
• Maintain clean work space by removing trash and debris from all areas of responsibility including structures, offices, restrooms, break rooms, vehicles, crane cab, etc
• Complete all necessary documentation as required including JHA’s, permits, log entries, audit sheet, daily check sheets, etc.
• Learn other positions such as crane or cutters operators as time permits

Skills/Qualifications:

    Ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Maintenance: mechanically inclined and have worked in jobs that require you to have ability to trouble shoot or fix mechanical breakdowns
• Equipment Operation: experience operating several different types of heavy equipment from various manufacturers 
• Refinery or Industrial Plant Operations: experience with high safety standards and dangers of working in these types of environments
• Learn and gain knowledge of jet pumps, Delta Valves and FlowServe equipment or similar equipment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to pay extreme attention to detail, while being patient and able to avoid all distractions
• Good command of oral and written English.  English level equal or higher than B1 according to CEFR

General Experience/Requirements:

• High School Diploma or greater
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen, physical and criminal background check
• Must be able to learn and understand the oil refining process and safety culture that comes with it
• Ability to work outside in any condition and on extreme heights
