JOB OPENINGS FOR ENGLISH LANGUAGE INSTRUCTORS IN SAUDI ELECTRICITY COMPANY

Positions are available in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Abha, Saudi Arabia.   Short listed candidates will be personally interviewed by Saudi Electricity Company Representatives in Amman in March 2013.

REQUIREMENTS

• University Degree in related field with a minimum of five years of experience or Master’s Degree in related field with a minimum of three years of experience.
• CELTA and/or DELTA certification preferred.
• Candidate must be a self-starter and self-motivator, have very good command of English with fluency in the related subject matter and very good listening, writing and oral communication skills.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Working with well-established and well-defined ESL teaching procedures in a technical training setting.
• Preparing and presenting introductory, basic and intermediate course materials as identified in training program plans.
  • Testing and assessing trainee performance and reviewing feedback on training materials.
  • Monitoring the progress of trainees and English language courses.
  • Instructing trainees in various industrial training program settings for between 4 to 6 hours per day.
  • Devising and administering verbal and written quizzes and providing homework assignments.
  • Proctoring during mid-term and final course tests and participating in the marking of papers and in the assessment of trainee performance.
  • Participating in and/or contributing to instructor training workshops, seminars and forums in order to improve teaching techniques and overall instruction.
