A leading fast food company in KSA- Jeddah is seeking to fell the following vacancy :

Construction Maintenance supervisor

Duties:

This position is a supervisory position, responsible for the upkeep of facilities and buildings.

1 - Coordinates the activities of civil and building maintenance, structural alterations and modifications.

2 - Prepares and administers maintenance contracts to assure contractors adherence to its contractual obligations.

3 - Preparation of Preventive Maintenance Programs and guiding Supervisors and Foremen for implementation.

4- Prepares technical feasibility studies and cost estimates for modification, Activities include coordination with Construction Department regarding all new projects.

5 - Confer with management staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.

6 - Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment.

7 - Direct, review, and approve product design and changes.

8 - Administer engineering and maintenance services.

9 - Supervises service maintenance personnel.

10 - Ensures that maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.

11 - Maintains and updates operating and training manuals for the maintenance department.

12 - Communicates regularly with all maintenance technicians, both individually and as a group, to ensure good two-way communication concerning maintenance issues.

13 - Maintains profit and loss accounts of his/her department if required.

14 - Initiates and carries out projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.

15 - Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services.

16 - Responsible for his own time and scheduling of routine visits to each restaurant at least once each month, submitted to Facilities Manager.

17 - Performs preventive, scheduled, and emergency maintenance service for equipment, building and facility of the restaurants.

18 - Performs all general repairs to the restaurants, including but not limited to coolers, fryers, basic electrical, HAVC and plumbing, carpentry, all material finishes repair, and door hardware repair.

Preferred Qualifications

1. 1Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or associates technical degree, or closely relatedis required
2. 2At least 4-6 years of experience in restaurant Construction orbuilding maintenance work and Facilities, retail or a commercial construction firm, preferred with at least two years as a supervisor.
3. 3Strongly Desired: minimum of Electric Experience and HVAC Experience.
4. 4must also have good English communication skills
5. 5Strong interpersonal skills and administrative skills
6. 6Excellent project supervision and organizational skills
7. 7General business knowledge including excellent communication skills
8. 8The ability to successfully interpret building
9. 9Experience with financial analysis and reporting
10. 10Ability to plan and implement multitask construction activity.
11. 11Ability to prioritize and direct the work of others.
12. 12Ability to effectively establish deadlines.
13. 13Ability to communicate organizational goals to staff.
14. 14Ability to plan and manage multiple projects
