A leading integrated Services Company in KSA is seeking to recruit a technical manager

Job title

Technical Manager

Overall purpose of job

To head the technical team and provide the technical support for customers

Day to day responsibilities

Responsible for building the technical team and identifying activities

- Responsible for the performance and development of the team

- Manage customer technical support requests to resolution

- Manage delivery of proactive and reactive services to customers

- Maintain network backbone operations and performance

- Propose a solution that addresses client requirements and meets its expectations, considering budget and time constraints

- Work with customers at the team level to develop and maintain a service delivery plan

- Prepare a high level design, low level design, and network diagram

Education, experience, training and skills required

Needs to have College Degree in Computer Engineering or Communications Engineering or IT or relevant degree

- Needs to be certified as CCIE R&S or CCIE SP, CCIP and CCNP

- MCITP or MCSE is preferred

- JNCIA, JNCIS and JNCIP are preferred

- Certificate(s) in Information Security is preferred

- Needs to have from 6 to 8 years of technical hands-on experience in a service provider or system integrator

- Should be capable to design and implement internet and WAN solutions

- Needs to have excellent experience in Multi-homing and failover scenarios as well as load sharing and balancing

- Should be capable to make design for network and system infrastructure for SME, and provide guidance for implementation team

- Needs to have experience in implementation of IPv6 and

migration from IPv4 to IPv6

- Needs to have excellent experience in implementation of cache engines, L4-7 Switches and Web filtering

- Needs to have excellent experience in network management tools such as Cacti, Nagios, Cisco Works (LMS), CA spectrum, Solar Winds, OP Manager, HP Open view

- Needs to have good experience in appliances controlling user internet traffic

- Should be able to handle LIR registry with RIPE NCC

- Needs to have good knowledge in cloud computing, virtualization (VMWare & Citrix), backup, DRC and data center design

- Needs to have extensive experience in Microsoft infrastructure products such as DC, DNC, Exchange, TMG, etc

- Needs to have good experience in WLAN and Wireless Systems such as point to point or point to multi-point, and WiMAX.

- Should be able to manage and lead team members

- Needs to have the sense and culture of customer satisfaction

- Should have good communication skills in both Arabic & English

- Should be presentable, creative and patient.
