JOB  VACANCY

A leading Governmental company In UAE is seeking to recruit the following:

Senior Podiatrist- specialist

Detailed duties for the position:

-    Oversee and manage assigned podiatry staff

-    Contribute to best practice protocols and procedures that will be used throughout the satellite SEM Units

- Contribute to continued medical education of podiatry personnel

- Review literature on a regular basis to ensure that interventions and campaigns are aligned with current health promotion and education theory

-   Assess, diagnose and manage a range of complex patient lower leg and foot conditions

-   Undertake daily  clinics at the Satellite Health and Sport Medicine Centres

-         Prescribe, produce and fit orthotics and other aids

-    Maintain a close rapport with all referrers to the Podiatry Clinics

-   Provide statistical data and maintain audits regarding the Podiatry service

-   Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records

-     Provide regular performance reviews of clinics and staff

-  Collaborate with relevant staff on exercise programs and patient management

-   Give educational talks on available podiatry services and on any health related topic as required by the Health Education Section.

-   Management of other podiatrists reporting to him/her within the relevant satellite HSMC or region

-   Assist in the development of a gait analysis program and ensure it is used throughout all HSMC centers

Education and training:

-  BSc in podiatry or 3 year certificate from accredited programme. Masters preferred.

-       Good computer skills

-       Fluent in English

- 5 years relevant experience or relevant post-graduate qualification
