A leading Governmental association is seeking to recruit the following: Senior Research and Data Manager
Detailed duties for the position: ü Set up and manage satellite and central health databases to allow long term monitoring of all personnel ü Co-ordinate the collection, entry and analysis of all health and physical performance data from each training establishment ü Analyze data from all databases using a wide range of statistical techniques to monitor long term changes in health and performance ü Develop and implement standardized guidelines for the collection, entry, storage and access to data from both satellite and central health databases ü Design and conduct, with the help of other HSMC and satellite centre personnel, evaluations of health initiatives, campaigns and interventions ü Review extant literature on a regular basis to keep abreast of measurement issues related to health and fitness data, in addition to novel research methods and statistical techniques.
Education and training ü Minimum of Masters degree in statistics, health, sport or exercise related discipline with a strong research component ü Excellent computer skills ü Statistical knowledge including SPSS package ü Knowledge of SQL and Oracle databases ü Experience in performance monitoring beneficial ü Knowledge of Arabic language beneficial ü 5 years relevant experience including middle management
