JOB VACANCY

A Governmental Company in KSA is seeking to recruit the following:

Vibration Monitoring and Analysis Specialist

10-15 years of experience in hands-on experience in vibration monitoring, troubleshooting and with at least 5 years of experience in rotating equipment operation and maintenance. Experience in a large Power Utility a big plus but not essential.

The incumbent shall possess extensive experience, aptitude and proven track record in the following areas:

Operations and maintenance of all types of pumps – vertical, horizontal, motor driven, turbine drive, and submersible.

Providing expertise and consulting services in the area of vibration and equipment balancing.

Analysis of field vibration data and issuing reports with recommendation.

Troubleshooting of vibration related problems, equipment failure, identifying root cause and recommending corrective actions.

Developing and implementing condition monitoring programs, including vibration monitoring, oil analysis, and acoustic emissions.

Developing and implementing Condition Based Maintenance programs.

Shop and field balancing of Steam/gas turbines and large pumps and motors.

Use of standard vibration monitoring equipment (hand-held) and analytical software

Must possess in-depth knowledge of related industry standards and practices in the area of vibration and equipment balancing.

Must have valid at least level-II certification in vibration.

Must have intimate knowledge of all popular vibration monitoring (on-line AND hand-held) system, software and enhancement tools.

Excellent report writing and communication skills.

Good experience & knowledge of plant maintenance procedures.

PC, LAN/WAN skills.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with emphasis on power technology related subjects; MS is preferred. Professional registration is a plus.
