Job Title: SAP BPM Support

Position Snapshot

• Department: AMS - Core - SAP BPM

Role Summary

Responsible for supporting and maintaining SAP Business Process Management (BPM), ensuring automated processes and tasks run efficiently. Monitors process performance, handles incidents, and implements improvements in coordination with business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily SAP BPM processes and ensure successful execution.
• Analyze errors and incidents and resolve technical issues related to automated processes.
• Implement updates and changes to process models in coordination with stakeholders.
• Support other teams in understanding and improving process flows in the system.
• Prepare technical reports and track BPM-related performance indicators.
• Work with AMS teams to ensure integration with other systems such as SAP ERP, SAP CML, and others.
• Provide L2/L3 support within SLAs/OLAs; log, categorize, and prioritize tickets in an ITSM tool (e.g., ServiceNow/Jira).
• Administer SAP NetWeaver BPM / SAP Process Orchestration (PO) or SAP BTP Build Process Automation components as applicable.
• Troubleshoot workflows, human tasks, and service interfaces; analyze logs/traces with NetWeaver Administrator (NWA); perform root-cause analysis and document knowledge articles/runbooks.
• Manage transports and releases across DEV/UAT/PROD using CTS+ and/or Solution Manager/ChaRM; maintain version-controlled process models.
• Plan and execute patching and support package upgrades; schedule maintenance windows and communicate downtime/impact.
• Harden security and authorizations (UME/IdM), SSO (SAML/Kerberos), certificates/keystores, and audit trails.
• Monitor capacity and performance (JVM heap, threads, queues) and fine-tune as needed; automate alerts and dashboards.
• Coordinate vendor escalations with SAP; raise and track OSS incidents/Notes to closure.
• Participate in on-call/after-hours support as required.
• 3–5+ years hands-on with SAP BPM/PO or SAP BTP Workflow/Build Process Automation.
• Strong understanding of BPMN 2.0 modeling (human tasks, gateways, service tasks, error/boundary events).
• Experience integrating with SAP and non-SAP systems via REST/SOAP/OData; familiarity with XML/XSD/WSDL/JSON.
• Working knowledge of Linux/Windows servers, JVM tuning, and basic database concepts.
• Exposure to ABAP/Java basics for debugging/integration is a plus.
• Experience with ITSM tools and ITIL processes; clear communication with business stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Preferred: SAP Certified Development Associate – Process Orchestration / SAP BTP Workflow or SAP Build Process Automation.
• ITIL Foundation is a plus.
• SAP NetWeaver BPM, SAP Process Orchestration (PO), SAP BTP Build Process Automation, Solution Manager/ChaRM, ServiceNow/Jira, NetWeaver Administrator (NWA), CTS+, Git, monitoring tools.
• SLA attainment, mean time to resolution (MTTR), change success rate, process throughput/latency, and stakeholder satisfaction
