Job Opportunities – Substation Projects
A reputable company in KSA is currently seeking qualified and experienced professionals to join our team for ongoing Substation Projects. We invite applications from candidates who meet the following requirements:
Construction Manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers.
- Experience:
- Non-Saudi candidates: Minimum 10 years of post-graduation experience.
Key Responsibilities & Skills:
- Manage and oversee all substation construction activities in coordination with discipline engineers and project staff.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and safety regulations.
- Prepare and submit progress reports to the Project Manager.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
QA/QC Civil Inspector
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience:
- 5–6 years of relevant experience in construction projects.
Key Responsibilities & Skills:
- Perform inspection of civil materials and construction activities in accordance with approved procedures and specifications.
- Familiar with construction standards, specifications, and international codes.
- Proficient in documentation, report preparation, and quality control records.
- Good knowledge of RFI, ITP, Checklists, NCR, FAT, and Punch List processes.
- Ability to review engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Experience in construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning stages including preparation of ECC packages and punch closure.
Welding QC Inspector
Qualifications:
- Mechanical Engineering Graduate or Diploma holder.
- CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector Certification.
- NDT Certifications (UT, PT, RT, VT – Level II).
- Experience:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities & Skills:
- Conduct welding inspection activities and ensure compliance with project standards.
- Coordinate with consultants regarding RFI, NCR, and SOR documentation.
- Prepare welding reports including WQT, Fit-Up Reports, Visual Inspection Reports, and Weld Summaries.
- Strong knowledge of ASME Section IX and ASME Section V codes.
QA/QC Civil Inspector
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers.
- Experience:
- Non-Saudi candidates: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
- Saudi candidates: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities & Skills:
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans and project specifications.
- Conduct quality control inspections of materials, workmanship, and site activities.
- Prepare technical reports and maintain project documentation.
- Experience in Substation (SS), BSP, UGC, and OHL projects is preferred.
Site Manager – Substation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers.
- Experience:
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in substation or power projects.
Key Responsibilities & Skills:
- Lead and manage site construction teams and coordinate project activities.
- Ensure project execution meets safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Good understanding of construction processes, regulations, and safety standards.
Civil Lead Engineer – Substation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or relevant engineering discipline).
- Registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers.
- Experience:
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in substation or infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities & Skills:
- Lead civil engineering activities for substation projects.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project compliance with design and specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and support during construction phases.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
