Job Announcement: Software Quality Assurance Specialist in Saudi Arabia

Location: Saudi Arabia

Contract Type: 1-year contract (extendable)

Number of Positions: 1

Salary package 14 K SAR

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Software Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure that delivered solutions meet agreed quality standards and business expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

QA Strategy and Planning

• Define, maintain, and govern QA methodologies, standards, and best practices.
• Develop detailed test plans and testing schedules.
• Identify testing scope, dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans.

Test Design and Preparation

• Review and analyze business, functional, and technical requirements to ensure completeness and testability.
• Identify appropriate testing types (functional, integration, system, regression, UAT support).
• Develop detailed test scenarios and test cases aligned with business workflows.
• Define expected results and validation criteria.
• Identify and prepare required test data.
• Document assumptions, constraints, and risks.
• Conduct internal reviews of test artifacts.

Test Execution

• Execute test cases according to approved plans and schedules.
• Perform functional, system, integration, and regression testing.
• Validate system behavior against requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Record and document test results (pass/fail).
• Identify, document, and track defects.
• Re-test resolved defects and confirm closure.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure system stability.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Monitor testing progress and communicate risks or delays.
• Ensure compliance with entry and exit criteria.
• Maintain test documentation and evidence for reporting and audits.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively.
