A leading Chemical industrial company in KSA  is seeking to recruit  

PURCHASE ENGINEER

Qualification:   Bachelor Degree in Engineering

Job description / job responsibilities:  -

Review of Purchase requisitions, documentation, commercial evaluation in reference to applicable laws, review of guarantees and awareness on various payment modes, namely wire / letter of credit etc. with implications relating to its operating parameter, knowledge of drafting letter of intent and purchase orders, purchase documentation and payment procedure.

Experience:

• 5 to 8 years experience in International Purchasing / tendering of Industrial Equipments and site work contracts.  Should have good knowledge of Import / Export procedures and Jordanian Tax Laws relating to it.
• Should have good knowledge of Custom related statutory requirements for Free Zone Projects / ASEZA and a fair idea of the  required documentation for Custom Clearances.

Good communication in written and spoken English (will be working with some non Arabic speaking people).

Monthly compensation between JD 1300 - 1700 depending on experience.  Higher salary may be considered for candidates with greater length and quality of experience.
