JOB  VACANCY

A leading Governmental association is seeking to recruit the following:

Senior Sport Scientist

Detailed duties for the position:

-   Act as the sport science liaison between the Association and the military establishment, implementing policy and procedures determined by the Director of Physical Performance, including:

1. oquality assurance of physical training lessons
2. oimplementation of body size tracking
3. omonitoring of physical fitness testing
4. oprogramming of PT, in particular for the obese &/ or unfit staff
5. oUploading of all relevant performance data to a centralized database and subsequent analysis.

-       Monitor environmental conditions

- Attend and contribute to regular sport science meetings at the association

-       Assist in the design and delivery of relevant health education

Education and training

-       Minimum of Masters degree in sport science or a related field

-       Excellent computer skills

-       Statistical knowledge including knowledge of SPSS

-       Experienced in field testing and performance monitoring;

-       Knowledge of Arabic language beneficial

-       5 years relevant experience including middle management
